Seductive Chocolate Martini This truly fabulous chocolate delivery system satisfies your cacao craving just when you need it, but it's most often sipped after a meal - with or without dessert! You have a choice to use either white or dark crème de cacao. Cruise Cuisine from Holland America Line Chefs In the Market (Yield: 1 drink) - 2 oz. vanilla vodka
- 1 oz. white or dark crème de cacao
- Espresso beans or chocolate curl for garnish (optional; see note below)
| In the Bar: Fill a pint glass with ice. Add vanilla vodka and crème de cacao. Cap with shaker can and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini glass. To Serve: Garnish with chocolate curl or espresso beans. Note: To make a chocolate curl, place finely chopped semisweet chocolate into the top of a double boiler placed over barely simmering (not boiling) water. Just when chocolate is melted, remove top of boiler and place it on a folded kitchen towel to blot any drops of steam from its underside. Immediately pour chocolate onto a marble slab, or any clean, washable surface. Allow chocolate to set. Using cheese cutter, rake over chocolate to form long individual curls. |
